"Care has never been just a job for me, it’s been my career, my passion, and the driving force behind my vision for Right Support North East.

Over the years, I’ve worked across a wide range of health and social care services, leading teams, improving quality, supporting people with complex needs, and helping services achieve better outcomes. Throughout my career, I’ve seen first-hand the incredible difference that compassionate, well-led care can make. I’ve also seen the impact when quality is compromised.

Those experiences inspired me to create something different.

Right Support North East was founded on a simple belief: people should always come before profit. Every decision we make is guided by the question, “Is this the right thing for the person we support?”

As someone who is autistic, I understand the importance of being listened to, respected and treated as an individual. That personal perspective has strengthened my commitment to creating services where people feel understood, valued and empowered to live the lives they choose.

My vision is to build an organisation known not simply for delivering care, but for delivering outstanding support, exceptional leadership and a positive culture where the people we support, their families and our staff all feel valued.

Our ambition isn’t to become the biggest provider. It’s to become one of the most trusted. Growth will come because we consistently deliver high-quality, person-centred care, not the other way around.
